Youth Addictions
Offers alternate treatment approaches for children, youth, and adults through the use of creative methodologies such as art, sand, play, and therapeutic games focused counselling. Provides a play room, art room, and therapeutic games area with specialized equipment, toys, and activities. These items have been carefully selected to encouarge creativity and natural behaviours providing opportunity for optimal observation and assessment. Trauma focused assessment and couselling is available in group or individual formats to address the impact of various events such as abuse, loss, attachment, exposure to domestic violence and other traumatic events. Training, consultation, and supervision are also available.

Youth Addictions
The Health Sciences North (HSN) Crisis Intervention Program is a short term counselling and assessment service available to individulas of all ages who are experiencing a crisis and are unable to cope effectively as a result of symptoms of a mental illness, or personal problems.
The program is operated 24 hours per day 7 days per week.
Services can be accessed by presenting to the program, or by making an appointment by telephone. We also accept referrals from self, family members, emergency department, family physicians, and community agencies.
We also offer a Mobile Crisis Program which is available Monday through Friday from 10 am to 10 pm. The Mobile Program is available to meet the client at an appropriate location within the District of Sudbury.

Crisis lines & In person crisis services
Emergency crisis line and response team to assist individuals who have serious mental health issues and who are in crisis. Also supports caregivers in the management of acute mental health concerns and crisis. Intake can be initiated by individuals directly or through their family members and caregivers. Referrals are accepted from community agencies and professionals. If anyone is at immediate risk of serious harm, CALL 911 instead. This includes medical distress or injuries, violence/use of weapons, or any immediate threat to someone"s physical safety.
