Addiction Treatment

Offering a 42 day live-in, integrated stage one trauma and addiction treatment program for adult men (18+ years) who live anywhere in the province of Ontario Program consists of: Group therapy Individual counselling Living skills Relapse prevention Alcohol and Drug education Relationships Discharge planning Trauma integrated, gender-responsive and 12 Step based Family members, friends, and community members are welcome to attend HPC"s Family Program for infomration and support.

Addiction Treatment

A 33-day integrated addiction and trauma residential treatment program, in a caring community setting where women"s unique needs, experiences and situations are recognized in the complexity of alcohol and/or drug addiction. Clients experience an intensive recovery process based on the philosophy of 12-step programs. the program addresses the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of addiction participants work through addiction-related issues building healthy relationships effective communication skills women also participate in leisure activities including yoga, meditation and swimming family and friends who wish to visit are required to attend a psycho-educational family group session called "Steps to Self Care" visitation will follow the session if the above requirements are met

Crisis lines & Support Groups

Centre offers support to anyone faced with an unplanned pregnancy variety of free and confidential services staff and volunteers provide fact-based information, advocacy support, mentoring and practical assistanceServices include: one-on-one client advocacy for men and women on-site self-administered pregnancy test prenatal support post-natal support postpartum support post-abortion grief support and recovery adoption information and referral information on STDs and STIs Growing Hearts Program (weekly mom peer program) Eye Spy Squad (Infant-preschool toddlers of moms in Growing Hearts program) Practical Fatherhood initiatives various workshops on topics such as Parenting and PreNatal Care Closet (practical assistance) referrals

Support Groups

Offers one-on-one counselling, couples counselling, family counselling, child(ren) with parent(s) and caregivers counselling through the phone or using Zoom video conferencing software.

Addiction Treatment & Addiction Counselling

Treats patients who have become addicted to opiate based drugs such as codeine, morphine, heroin, OxyContin or Percocet, as well as others

Helps and treats individuals that are dependent on narcotics using either Suboxone or Methadone therapy for opioid dependence.

COVID-19 (19 October 2021): Due to COVID19, several changes to services offered. Hospice residence remains open with safety precautions, continuing to admit screened patients at low risk of COVID19. Community programs, volunteer services, day hospice program, in-home support and bereavement programs are cancelled.
