Youth Addictions
Provides assessment, counseling and referral for individuals experiencing issues related to their own or someone else"s substance use or gambling behaviour. Choices for Change is an incorporated, charitable organization which is publicly funded primarily by the South West Local Health Integration Network (LHIN).

Youth Addictions
Christian Counselling Ottawa offers a full range of individual, couple, and family therapy services in areas of* Trauma * Depression * Anxiety * Abuse * Addictions * Relationship issues in marriages and families * Child Development * Faith Issues. We also offer limited group therapy services, as well as educational presentations on a variety of topics related to counselling themes as requested in the Christian community. Consultation services for clergy and Christian ministry leaders to assist them in their work, are also available. Our staff of professionally accredited psychotherapists meet clients at their point of pain, seeking to integrate Christian faith into the therapeutic process in a manner which is appropriate and desired by the client. A community-focused, faith-inspired, volunteer-run, care network (not-for-profit)
Projects include:
First Serving Dinners - a fresh dine-in or take-out community meal program
Emergency Meal Program - a frozen meal program for neighbours without homes or in life crisis
Covid Food Services - a food hamper program to assist neighbours financially affected by the pandemic
Donation Station - accepts and shares gently-used furniture, appliances, baby items, and kitchen basics with neighbours who cannot afford to purchase them, also includes a children"s clothing program, and an elementary school spare clothing program
The Gathering Food Gardens - community gardens supplying local food programs and pantries
Celebrate Recovery - a community support program to help neighbours rise above life"s hurts, habits, and hang-ups

Youth Addictions
Are you experiencing conflict, stress, or grief in your life or relationships? Addressing communication and relationship issues can help create the intimate and harmonious relationships you desire. You can find the assistance you need as an individual, for your family, or as a couple around the following issues: anxiety, blended family issues, burnout, coparenting, communication, divorce, family of origin issues, grief or loss, parent-youth issues, personal development, relationships, school related issues, separation, stress and workplace conflict issues.
The value of talking with a professionally trained therapist is that you are getting help from an objective, skilled person within an emotionally safe environment. This allows you to receive assistance in assessing your situation and developing positive strategies within a supportive counselling relationship.
Counselling can help enhance your self-awareness helping you to develop more rewarding relationships and make positive life choices. Together we can explore your relationships patterns, which could be contributing to your present situation. I use a variety of treatment modalities including an emotionally focused approach, brief psychodynamic therapy, and solution focused therapy. Nataxja is a registered Social Worker, a certified Emotional Focused Therapist and a Certified Canadian Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. She is a Collaborative Divorce Consultant with the Ottawa Collaborative Law Network working to assist families keep family bonds as they go through the divorce process.
