Support Groups
COVID-19 - The Children"s Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent building is closed to the general public and appointments are encouraged for all services. The centre is providing in person and virtual services based on the needs of our clients and families. Referrals are still continuing to be accepted and forms are available through the website. Referrals are accepted through email, voicemail and fax. For information on our services refer to the website at www.ctc-ck.com.Telepractice services available during Covid-19 for intervention, screening, assessment and consultation.Some services may be different due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and increased focus on health and safety and reducing exposure to Covid-19.Coordinated Service Planning (CSP) Children and Youth under the age of 18 (or 21 if still in school) who have multiple and/or complex needs whose need for service coordination goes beyond the scope of inter-professional collaboration to address and who would benefit from the added support provided by Coordinated Service Planning, due to the breadth and cross sectoral nature of their needs, across multiple areas of development.Life Links ProgramChildren"s Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent"s Life Links program provides service coordination support to families with children and youth ages 6 through 21. Specialized social workers help family to Understand and support the family"s goals, work together to create a plan towards goal attainment, obtain access to CTC-CK programs (youth groups, specialized life skill groups, short term therapy services), be a part of the transition planning process from childhood to adulthood, learn about and gain access to community programs and services, seek support and assistance with referrals to community agencies and programs.Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Program (FASD) The Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder program is a family centered support program for families with children between the ages of 0-18 years of age, (21 if in school,) who have diagnosed or suspected FASD. Parents/caregivers will be provided a Family Support Worker who can provide: consultation for parents and caregivers, coaching, support for services, training and resources.Community Referral Form Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Program and Principal Referral Form are to be completed with parent"s consent by the school principal and submitted to the Children"s Treatment Centre.

Youth Addictions
Children’s Mental Health of Leeds & Grenville is dedicated to serving the mental health needs of children, youth and their families. No professional referral is required.
The walk in clinic is open to children and youth (0 to 18) and their families looking to work towards a solution to a problem or concern. An appointment with one or more of our counsellors can be made to focus on behavioural, emotional and/or other mental health concerns in a collaborative, strength based process.
Walk in clinic hours: Wednesdays from 11am to 7pm. Last appointment is at at 5:30pm.

Support Groups
Provides protection and care for children and families. Nurtures a healthy community environment with the aim that all children remain connected to their heritage and culture. Range of community-based and culturally appropriate services include:Family Support Program - provides various voluntary services and parenting information to Band members and acts as a liaison between families and off-reserve child welfare agencies. Also offers parenting programs.Foster Care Support - offers support and assistance to foster parents / customary care/ kinship families and children-in-care in the community. Also helps in the recruitment of new foster parents within the community to keep children within their home community.Child Support Program - works in accordance with the Family and Children"s Services Act to provide advocacy, support services and referrals for children-in-care and in the community. Offers child / youth enrichment programs for school aged children from daycare to grade 12.Nawash Youth Group - for teens ages 13-18. Offers workshops for social, personal, career and life skills training, annual pre-parenting sessions, fundraisers and a range of cultural and recreational activities. Programs include Teen"s Night and drop-in on Friday evenings for games, computer, pool table, TV and movies. Transportation is available home after each event.Leaders In Training - supports children and youth to develop and strengthen their life skills, culture and identity. Multi-faceted program builds on the strengths of Aboriginal youth and their communities.

Youth Addictions
Mnjikaning Family Services is an advocate of the safety, health and well being of our community in the body, mind, spirit and emotions. We will work toward creating awareness for the protection and safety of our children. Mnjikaning Family Services serves as an umbrella organization from which an assortment of preventative programs stem. It is here that the programs are planned, implemented and constantly monitored for improvement. By working closely with other groups, our approach will be more holistic from a community perspective. A Responsible Gaming Program has been established in association with Casino Rama. Family Services has also developed Biidaaban Circle to help the community cope with sexual, physical and mental abuse.
