Assessments: helps determine how individual’s alcohol and/or drug use (or someone else’s use) may be causing problems, and what solutions are available.
Free individual and group counselling for:

Adults who are affected by a family member’s substance use.

A range of services are available for individuals over the age of 5; provided by health region and in cooperation with various non-government community organizations.
Services available include:
Brief Therapy (one-three sessions for sudden and intense stress related to a specific cause)
Individual Counselling (one-six sessions)
Psycho-Educational or Treatment Groups
Alcohol/Dug Detox (information, groups, links to resources, Naloxone kits, needle exchange program)
Mental Health First Aid Courses
Recovery Services (for individuals requiring ongoing support and life skills training)
Mental Health Approved Homes (residence and assistance to people living with long term mental illness)
Psychiatry (outpatient clinic and 15-bed inpatient unit).
