Virtual support group for people anticipating or coping with the loss of a pet provides information on subjects related to pet loss through informative lectures and provide access to an extensive list of resource materials lists of suggested readings can be obtained through a veterinarian or at the meetingsA list of referrals from several professionals in the community is available for those who need more personal and in-depth help in coping with the feelings of loss. Each of these people have expressed a special interest in providing compassionate support and counselling for people coping with grief over the loss of a pet.

Information and psychological/emotional support for persons who will or have undergone intestinal or urinary tract diversion surgery colostomy urostomy ileostomy ileo-anal reservoirMeetings: supportive visiting service to ostomates, their families and caregivers support is available before, during and after the hospital stay visitors are trained volunteers who are matched by age, sex, and type of surgery members are encouraged to bring their spouses, family and friends to the meetings meetings are via zoom (virtual) during the winter, and in person other months. We try to also include a hybrid component to the in person meetings.

The Ottawa Withdrawal Management Centre (OWMC) is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Residential Withdrawal Management Program: 26-bed, co-ed residential service for persons (16 years or over) who are intoxicated, in withdrawal and/or in crisis related to their substance use.
Community Withdrawal Management Program: safe withdrawal from alcohol and/or other drugs, in-home or in another location, with support in the community.
Day Program: additional support for recovery and help to prepare for further addiction treatment. Sessions take place from 10 am to 3 pm, Monday to Friday, for a period of 3 weeks.
