Providing children and youth with special needs the tools to thrive both inside and outside the classroom, and helping their parents navigate the local education system, are among WRFN"s highest priorities.Successful collaboration between home and school, involving transparent and open communication, can be the key to a student"s success. SADVTC is 24/7 on call team of forensic nurses and social workers who respond to the needs of individuals who have experienced sexual assault, domestic violence and human trafficking. Emergency and short-term follow up care is also offered to those accessing the team.

Ongoing peer support group"Why...?" is a 9-week scheduled group designed for individuals who are facing the challenges of traumatic grief after a family member or friend has died by suicide. Loss after suicide is considered complicated grief, and as such, it is more severe and longer-lasting. This group provides a cathartic experience and an opportunity for individuals to connect with others in an intimate manner. An variety of techniques including guided mourning, mindfulness, and client-centered approach to self-awareness and empathy will be explored.

Waterloo Wellington Diabetes, hosted by Langs in Cambridge Ontario, offers a central intake for all referrals to diabetes education and specialists. This means improving access to diabetes care by finding the right care at the right time at the right place for individuals and families with diabetes. The resource clinician supports health service providers throughout the region to deliver high quality, evidence-based care in diabetes.
